Reporting to our Global Head of University Partnerships, you will drive our continued growth with university partnerships in the US as a senior individual contributor. As part of the Partnerships Development team, you will play a key role in identifying university stakeholders, building relationships with them, and executing an effective sales strategy to close new partnerships.
You'll do this by:
Developing and delivering a book of business in higher education: nurturing leads, cultivating relationships and closing new business with US universities.
Executing discovery calls, deliver product demos, and guide universities through the process all the way to close.
Consistently over-achieving on targets through activities within your target region and ideal customer profiles (Chair, Dean, VP/Provost of Global Education, International Student Office, Admissions/Enrollment).
Working closely with counterparts in Partnership Account Management to transition new partners for successful onboarding and implementation.
Gathering university requirements and feeding back to our product team to identify product enhancements.
Using the CRM to meticulously manage your entire pipeline and customer base.
Working closely with sales operations and the marketing team to ensure a high quality pipeline of inbound demand.

5+ years of selling products/services to US university areas such as careers office, study abroad office, international student office.
Experience with, and the stamina for, long-cycle sales. You particularly understand how to drive against ambitious timelines and targets while also balancing the needs and realities of individual target client constraints.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, evolving early-stage environment. You are comfortable with the ambiguity that comes with a startup environment, and you are excited by the idea of working with a global team.
A love of building relationships and connecting with people.
Willingness to travel- domestically and possibly internationally as needed. Given the current environment, you also bring an instinct of knowing when meetings should take place virtually versus in person.
Legally able to work in the US without sponsorship.
